At The Thrifty Laker, our low prices attract customers, but our tasteful products keep you coming back to discover what new treasures we have to offer. Our helpful staff are always on hand to point out new arrivals and to find items within your budget. We’re here to help you in any way possible!
About the shop itself:
The Thrifty Laker is nestled between 2 lakes (Pigeon and Battle) along RR20. 2km of gravel to our little acreage that homes the shop.
For now while we figure out if this venture is worthwhile you will find the shop "cozy" but inviting.
To keep the space feeling less cluttered we will only be displaying seasonal clothing unless stock is low.
If you need something specific please ask and we can probably dig it up!
Consignment: We do not currently accept any items as consignment. All items in our shop have been donated by local community members or shop visitors. A portion of our profits go to community organizations or families in need.
There is no public bathroom on site.
We are cash and e-transfer only for now.
Give Back Today
The Thrifty Laker welcomes contributions (donations) of items you no longer want or need. By contributing these pre-owned items, we can then sell them at a discounted, affordable rate for those who couldn’t afford them otherwise or for those who simply love to thrift. We ask our donors to refrain from contributing "overly loved" items. The Thrifty Laker firmly believes in giving back to our community. Your generous contributions will help us do so. We appreciate your cooperation to add value and support. We know that giving feels great.

If we have too much of an item in stock and storage it may be brought to a different local Thrift Shop to help the community in other ways.
This disclaimer also will be in effect if The Thrifty Laker closes due to lack of contributions or lack of community interest.
